Welcome to the Tuesday edition of the daily fantasy hockey morning coffee. After a very small three-game on Monday night we’re back with a nice 13-game slate to work with for our daily fantasy hockey needs. There are three teams I’ll look to tonight as the basis for much of my roster construction:

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Boston Bruins (Boston, -175, 5.5 over/under)
Chicago Blackhawks @ Colorado Avalanche (Chicago, -275, 5.5 over/under)
New York Islanders @ Nashville Predators (Nashville, -85, 5.5 over/under)

The first team I have interest in tonight are the Boston Bruins. The Bruins are at home tonight in a game that should have a playoff-like atmosphere to it. While “playoff-like” almost sounds like it will be a grind out low scoring game, it’s just not what the Boston Bruins do under Cassidy these days. Since the All-Star break Boston leads the NHL in goals for per game at 3.58 and last month, over the course of 14 games, scored a league fourth-best 3.14 goals for per game. Over their past 10 games the Bruins has a SCF/60 rate of 28.14. Over their past 10 games Boston also has a CF% of 54.62 percent — good for  fifth-best in the NHL.

While Tampa Bay has done a decent job at limiting scoring chances against they still allowed 2.80 goals per game last month — thanks in large part to a pedestrian .912 percent team save percentage. There are some red flags to the Bruins pick and I tend to lean on them more as a tournament play tonight. The biggest red flag — per Corsica, since Jan. 1 Tampa Bay has a league-best SCA60 of 5.9.  And I would have no problem trying to fit in both sides of this game in tournaments. Let’s take a quick look at Tampa Bay’s last four games:

March 27. — 5 goals for
March 30. — 5 goals for
April 1. — 1 goal
April 2. –6 goals

Our Boston Stacks:

Line 2: Drew Stafford $3.5K / David Krejci $5.5K / David Pastrnak $6.8K
Power Play 1 Stack: Brad Marchand $7.9K / Patrice Bergeron $7.4K / David Pastrnak $6.8K / Torey Krug $5.2K / Ryan Spooner $4.4K

Our Tampa Bay Stacks:

Power Play 1 Stack: Ondrej Palat $6K / Brayden Point $4.6K / Jonathan Drouin $6.2K / Nikita Kucherov $8.3K / Victor Hedman $6.6K

The second team I have interest in tonight, and the most stackable team of the night, is the
