Over the past few weeks, our list of targets continually grew as the schedule of games for the main fantasy slate remained large and the number of teams to target increased. Now that we have a change in both – largely because each team is defining its own preferred style of play, our list has naturally become shorter.

Based on our expected Week 6 DFS game flow analysis and Week 6 Games to Target published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 6 Plays:

Quarterback

Gardner Minshew – It should come as no surprise to see Gardner Minshew on our list of targets for this week, as we expect the Jacksonville Jaguars to, at worst, compete on Sunday. In the past, the Jaguars “competing” in a game meant that the team’s defense would prevent an opponent from running away and hiding so that the offense could possibly scrape together enough points to make the final score competitive. Not anymore. Now, it’s the offense leading the way – which ranks sixth-best in yards-per-game. Minshew’s price is absurdly low if he can perform near his current average, and he is both a great value play and a solid option across-the-board.

Dak Prescott – With all the talk we’ve had about this game, and the extra motivation for the Cowboys, it should have been expected to find Dat Prescott in this section. The Jets’ defense isn’t nearly as bad as their record may indicate, but the Cowboys’ offense has more than enough talent to overcome to middling matchup. Prescott has performed well from a fantasy perspective in four-out-of-five games this season, and this week should be another good showing. After listening to the media calling him a ‘fraud’ all week long, the young quarterback will take this take as an opportunity to right the ship and get his team back in the win column. It’s been a great sign that Prescott has thrown multiple touchdown passes every week except the one game against the Saints.
