We generally like to split up our games to target so that we aren’t listing the same ones over-and-over – and between the two of us – but we have been in lockstep about a few matchups, all week. We do disagree on one, however, and it had to be mentioned for exactly that reason.

A Note from Mario: With the overall against-the-spread picks not doing too well, last week, it was nice to get back some wins from the over-under. They went 3-1. As always, I’ll list my personal favorite picks, but please do your research, and play responsibly.

In this column of games to target in Week 7, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants
Seemingly every week we target a team coming off a Thursday loss, but this week is even more favorable than in the past. The Giants are in-line to regain almost their entire offense this which should provide a huge boost. Also factor in the significant improvement in their matchup, and a bounce back game seems all but certain. The Cardinals’ defense gets back Patrick Peterson, but he alone can’t fix this defense, and even if he could, he’s likely to be a bit rusty in his return from a six game suspension. The Giants offense should be able to produce steadily throughout this game. The Cardinals offense is fresh off their best game of the season and gets another prime matchup. The Giants’ defense ranks among the worst in the league in basically every major category, so the Cardinals should be able to keep their momentum going this week with the positive matchup and game flow.
