Between the overlap and smaller slate, we actually have a smaller list of games to target. But, within those games, we have great upside for offense, as well as one team that might be completely shut down by an opposing defense.

In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. In this column of games to target in Week 9, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention. 

Luke’s Top Games to Watch

Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers
This is a game that will likely draw a certain amount of fantasy attention, but outside of a few pieces at small ownership, I’ll be largely staying away. The Colts’ offense has been largely efficient this season, but their only big games have come when the matchup and the game flow really dictated that. This week they face a Steelers defense that consistently gets pressure on the quarterback, and has a knack for creating turnovers. The Steelers offense, despite a few big plays last week, is far from a juggernaut, and won’t force the Colts into playing a fast paced, shootout style game. This game is also riddled with injuries to key players such as James Conner, T.Y. Hilton and Eric Ebron. There will be some moderately tempting value plays as a result of these injuries, but this game feels like it has all the potential to be a sloppy offensive game that disappoints fantasy owners.
