I like it. We’re steadily moving forward and even more steadily moving back to where we were a few weeks ago.

I still always want to be cautious when we reach this point of the season and value appears to be shifting, but there is some good news ahead of us.

There are definitely some ‘trap’s laid this week. Including in the direction of the favorites.

This is what we always want. Some sort of read from the number. The irony is that there is also a decent amount of nonconference games, which means we don’t usually get as definitive of reads as I’d like.

Thankfully, that’s not the case for Week 7.

Below are predictions for each game against the spread. Spreads have been taken from various websites and are subject to change. The spread in parenthesis denotes the selected team. Spread is listed as advertised number and odds at either DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, Caesars Sportsbook, or Fanatics Sportsbook (formerly PointsBet). All efforts were made to provide picks at -110 or better, with some stretching to a -125 if no reasonable advertised spread was found.

That’s exactly the case with the New England Patriots and Chicago Bears. The spread isn’t showing its hand.

That is, if we take it at face value.

But I always write that
