Just like that opening night is done (kinda) as “opening night” is a week long even while teams have their first games whether it be at home or on the road. Chicago already opened up against the Penguins but they have another tough task on the road against the Bruins. Meanwhile on the West coast the Kings will have their home opener against the Avs’.

If you have not done so yet there is still time to check out my future plays for some teams in terms of points and division winners so get them while you can down below! Make sure you are following my X handle @Daily_Biscuit31 for any other NHL Plays outside the national games, goalie updates and more!

The Plays:
CHI @ BOS
The Blackhawks open up the season in a rough way as they have to plack back to back road games against the Penguins but managed to come away with the win 4-2, then have to travel to Boston to play the raining President Trophy winning Bruins, not the most ideal situation, and it doesn’t get much better as they have three more games on the road before returning to Chicago for their home opener. Boston on the flip side looks to put last year’s disappointing season behind them and start fresh and what better way than against one of the worst teams in the league. Chicago already confirmed backup Arvid Soderblom will be in net for the Hawks with Ullmark likely for the B’s, there is no reason to over think this as the Bruins are better in every aspect of the game and will win convincingly.
The Play: BOS -1.5, -108

COL @ LAK
Out on the west coast the Avs’ take on the Kings in what will be a very evenly matched match-up as the ML shows both teams at -110, but the puck line tells a different story as its the Kings giving the 1.5 (+205). Furthermore the tie no bet favors the Avalanche so this game is going to be a back and forth game and basically will be a coin flip. In the end the game is going to come down to who is better, and the Avs’ are that team. Not many games will you find them as close to evan as you are tonight, they have the better goaltender in Georgiev and a much better offense that L.A. I will give the edge in defense to the Kings but defense does not win games in the regular season.
The Play: Colorado -110
