The Stadium Series has come and gone. While it was eventfully all great things come to an end. We ended the week on a high note going 3-2 and on the plus side of things. We start this President’s Day Holiday in the US with two early games in the league. Two red hot teams square off in St. Louis as the Blues take on the Leafs, and in the afternoon cap the Kraken play a rare early game (in PST) hosting the Wings.

The early afternoon game gives us a nice value play with a homey underdog. Toronto has been on fire lately winning seven of their last ten, but that does not discount the Blues as they also have won seven of their last ten as well. Discounting the Blues at home this much leaves lots of value to be had at +135, so let’s back the home dog.
The Play: STL +135
DET @ SEA
When looking at the Lines for the Wings and Kraken two things stuck out and that was trends. In the short history of these two teams playing head to head the over has gone over 3 times (3-0-2) of those three games each of them has also gone to overtime. When the line has been at 6 it has been a push each time (twice). When it is 6.5 it has gone over (3-0) and also gone to overtime, with Seattle winning two of those three games. Seattle is also 2-0 at home and 4-1 overall. There is not much value on the Money Line, but as i mentioned trends seem to be the thing to look for. Pairing that with two teams that do not have a steady #1 netminder expect the over at a good value of +105
