After a fun filled day where we went 1-1 on Monday with two early day games to start this week we come back with a doubleheader on TNT tonight as Bedard and the Hawks take on the Flyers. Then in the night cap McDavid and Co. take on the mighty Bruins in Edmonton. PHI @ CHI
Not much to enjoy in this one unless you want to watch a superstar in the making with Bedard go against an average team. The Flyers you can say overachieved but with Carter Hart out they have struggled and it’s showing. There is very little value to be had in the game as the lines are right where they should be allowing little room to feel comfortable in taking the big favorite (the Fyers should not be this big of a favorite) or the home dog (if the Hawks were a bigger dog they be the play) The total can be swayed to over 6.5 as that will be about -105 in some places but with it sitting at 5.5 it’s a pass. And as always my rule about puck lines if it’s at +125 they aren’t worth it (at -1.5). While +130 is better it’s still a pass.

BOS @ EDM
Once I saw the match up there was no way I was avoiding the Bruins no matter what. Hoping the Bruins would be underdogs and I got my wish. While they are going up against Edmonton, they are still leaps better than them and getting them at such a great price of +120 is a no brainer.. While no goalies are announced either yet Botson has a solid 1-2 punch so that doesn’t affect my play here either. Parlay that with over the past 5 games played in Edmonton the Bruins are 4-1 losing their lone game in OT. Safe to back the defending President Trophy winners in this one as underdogs.
