Mid week is upon us and we are on the right track as the Bruins took down the Oilers in overtime to secure another dub on the week. With a single game tonight on ESPN the Washington Capitals travel to Tampa to take on the Lightning. Be sure to be following as we have an “off day” tomorrow but back at it both Saturday and Sunday!

The Capitals have been playing some sos hockey as of late going 3-5-2 in their last ten games, and currently are on a two game winning streak beating the Devils and Canadians. On the flip side Tampa has lost two straight losing to the Senators and Panthers. Tonight will be a battle of who will want it more. Amaile Arena is always a tough place to play in as the energy in Tampa is always electric (no pun intended). While I want to lean on Washington ML at such great value they burned me too many times in the past. If they were a home underdog I would be backing them but on the road it is a pass. The Puck line fits my do not play rule as the odds just are not enough to take there. So we are looking at one ket prop bet and that will be the great Alexander Ovechkin to score a goal as he has done so in his last four games it looks like he is starting to find himself again, so why not ride the hot hand.
