Tonight we are back as we are on the tail end of our back to back nations games, as the Colorado Avalanche travel to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Blackhawks. The week may be a slow one but we look to ramp up this upcoming weekend with two more games to come to round out the week!

Once I saw this game on the docket earlier in the week we already knew what it was going to be. A big favorite against a really bad team, but looking into this as i start writing it out it’s a great spot for a huge value play. While the Blackhawks are an underwhelming home underdog at +230. When you look into the numbers a little deeper you can see some hope for Chicago. They are 11-15-4 at home, while that’s nothing great, for them it is, and they already beat the Avs at home earlier in the year. As for the Avs they are 13-13-5 on the road. Of Chicago’s three wins against the Avs 2 of them have come in Chicago and are 2-3 over the last five games (last two seasons). The home dog is a live one and we are going to back it up tonight as there is much to be excited for.
