Buckle up. We have an unnaturally high amount of targets, this week. Why? Because there are so many games with relatively clear game flow projections from which we can choose our players. This also makes the combinations virtually limitless, and we found ourselves making more lineups than we would under normal circumstances.
Based on our expected Week 10 DFS game flow analysis performed earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.
Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 10 Plays:
Quarterback
Tom Brady – The New England Patriots are about to go on a bye week and, as we have repeated countless times in our picks article and game-by-game analysis, we are all-in on a big performance for the team. It starts with Tom Brady. He needs no introduction nor do we need to spend time focusing on his accolades and potential. Instead, we can point out that he is less expensive than five other quarterbacks and simply will not disappoint. In fact, this is the lowest price we have seen for Brady, all season. Buy now.
Andy Dalton – Andy Dalton is probably one of the safest quarterback selections of the week – and we don’t use that term freely. The game flow should be favorable as his defense likely will have trouble slowing down Drew Brees and the Saints, which means that Dalton will have to throw often to try and keep his team in the game. On top of the strong game flow, the matchup is absolutely perfect for Dalton. The Saints are one of the best run defenses in the league as they allow just 76.4 rushing yards per game. On the contrary, their defense is allowing 311.4 passing yards per game which is 31st in the league. They also rank 32nd in the league in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, so the Red Rifle should have no problem producing this week.
Josh Rosen – Trying to sell anyone on the Cardinals’ offense is no easy task, but we will try anyway. Josh Rosen has struggled for much of the year, but the setup this week could not be any better. In their last game, which was their first with a new offensive coordinator, Rosen got off to a rough start, but eventually turned in his best statistical showing yet. That is encouraging in itself, but now that they have had their bye week, it should be expected that the offense has had some time to work on their new system and hopefully come out ready to play. With all of that said, Rosen also has the perfect game script against the high-flying Chiefs’ offense, and a great matchup with the Chiefs’ defense that has struggled for much of this season to slow down opposing offenses. This week has a shot to be the rookie quarterback’s best outing yet.
