With the amount of high-end talent — especially at the running back position — we are looking to use in our fantasy lineups for Week 11, pricing is not particularly kind. As always, we had to be creative with mixing-and-matching the players we want across multiple lineups.
Based on our expected Week 11 DFS game flow analysis and Week 11 Games to Target published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.
Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 11 Plays:
Quarterback
Deshaun Watson – Deshaun Watson is coming off of his worst game of the entire season. It was his first game in which he threw for less than 200 yards and scored less than 15 fantasy points. While that was disappointing to see, it came in a bad weather, low scoring game against a tough Browns defense. This week, we are expecting a much different story for Watson and the Texans passing game. We fully expect the Patriots offense to run all over the Texans defense (more on that later), so Watson is going to be busy in this one trying to keep his team in a potentially high scoring matchup. High volume for Watson should bode very well for him considering the Patriots defense is allowing the second most net yards per pass attempt. Watson’s rushing ability has helped him provide a high floor and high ceiling for fantasy scoring all season, and the matchup and game flow this week are setting him up for a potential ceiling type of game.
Justin Herbert – We’ve written about in a few different weeks with a few different teams, but the argument remains the same. That is, if a team is going to pummel another one, eventually it will run the ball to wind clock, but it won’t start that way. If said winning team has a quarterback who can deliver, then the quarterback will deliver. Enter Justin Herbert. Again, he may eventually have the ball out of his hands, but that won’t be the case early in the game. Herbert will be the one to help the Los Angeles Chargers jump out to a lead. And, if it never happens, then his volume will only increase.
