Welcome to Monday morning edition of the daily fantasy hockey morning coffee. We have a nice seven-game slate to work with for our DFS needs tonight. I’ll look at the top three teams I’ll want to stack.

Tonight’s slate (my top tournament stacks in bold):

Arizona Coyotes @ Philadelphia Flyers (Philadelphia, -200, 6 over/under)
Boston Bruins @ Columbus Blue Jackets (Columbus, -150, 5.5 over/under)
Vegas Golden Knights @ New York Islanders (N.Y., -190, 5.5 over/under)
Montreal Canadiens @ Ottawa Senators (even, 5.5 over/under)
Tampa Bay Lightning @ Florida Panthers (Tampa Bay, -115, 5.5 over/under)
L.A. Kings @ St. Louis Blues (St. Louis, -130, 5.5 over/under)
Dallas Stars @ Vancouver Canucks (Dallas, -125, 6 over/under)
Toronto Maple Leafs @ San Jose Sharks (San Jose, -120, 6 over/under)

Tonight we’ll certainly pick on the Arizona Coyotes with the Philadelphia Flyers. Even though they will likely be a bit chalky I don’t want to completely ignore Philly in tournaments. Arizona has simply been awful this season with a league-worst 4.36 goals against per game and a league-worst combined goaltender save percentage of just .861. And things don’t get any better when you look at Arizona’s special teams — their 69.0 percent penalty rate is also dead last in the NHL. Oh, and they have yet to win a game this season going 0-10-1. This is somewhat tongue in cheek, but I can see all six of those in Vegas over/under goals be tallied on Philly’s side.

On the other end we have a Philadelphia team that has scored a league seventh-best 3.45 goals for per game this season and a power play that has clicked a nice rate of 21.4 percent. Philadephia has played six games on the road this season and have averaged a league seventh-best 3.50 goals for per game.

Note: Gostisbehere left last game with an injury, he still may be able to play tonight — double check his status. If he can’t go whoever replaces him at the point of the first power play unit gets a nice boost in value. He is not at this morning’s team skate …

The second team I want plenty of shares tonight are the Vegas Golden Knights. Vegas has won five straight games and have only lost one on the season. Vegas has scored five power play goals over their past four games and put up seven against Colorado their last time out. It’s truly been a remarkable story for an expansion team. On the season Vegas scored a league third-best 3.78 goals for per game and tonight get an Islanders team that has allowed 3.09 goals against per game this season.

New York has been on a nice streak of their own winning four of their last five … so I certainly wouldn’t talk you out of stacking up the New York side of this game — especially
