While we have dealt with some rare and uncomfortable changes in the 2020 season, Week 7 carries its own unique situation. The game between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks has been moved to Sunday night, but it is still included in DraftKings’ main slate. This has important repercussions. Not only does this bring the possibility of a late-swap, but it’s arguably one of the highest-scoring games of the weekend. Plan accordingly. This is especially true in a weekend where we have quite a few options, but many are higher-priced.

Based on our expected Week 7 DFS game flow analysis and Week 7 Games to Target published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 7 Plays:

Quarterback

Deshaun Watson – We continue to write about the high-scoring potential of the game between the Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans, and we are not going to back down now. The Packers’ offense is almost a lock to bounce back against this Texans defense, so Deshaun Watson will be busy trying to keep pace. While that may be a tall task, looking at his past few weeks, we believe he will be up for it. Watson has completed at least 70 percent of his passes in three of his last four games, thrown for at least 300 yards in three consecutive weeks and thrown for multiple touchdowns in four straight games. The Packers’ defense is not terrible, but they rank a mediocre 21st in the league in net yards allowed per pass attempt, so the matchup is nothing to scare us off of Watson.

Justin Herbert – While we like Watson for his potential in a high-scoring, back-and-forth matchup, we are actually looking at Justin Herbert from the completely opposite direction. His game might not be competitive. In fact, his team might be winning throughout and not need to pass at any time. Why, then, is he listed as a target? Because there’s almost no way that the Los Angeles Chargers pull away from the Jacksonville Jaguars unless Herbert is at the center of it. Jacksonville’s defense is allowing the fourth-most yards-per-game and the team has given up at least 30 points in five consecutive weeks. Los Angeles has had two weeks to prepare for this matchup and enters the contest at a disappointing 1-4 that is not indicative as to how well it has played. Expect Herbert and his offense to be ready to shine.

Drew Lock – We haven’t had to dig too deep into the bargain bin in past weeks to make a lineup, but it was a necessity, this time. For that reason, Drew Lock slides in as a low-cost flier who could vastly outperform the bulk of other options in his price range. The Denver Broncos’ offense is flat-out horrible, but it will have to try to compete with the high-flying nature of the Kanas City Chiefs. That, alone, gives Lock a game script we would love. The real support for Lock comes from his overall potential that he had entering the 2020 season. He had all the makings of a ‘sleeper,’ but battled an injury in the first quarter of the year. He’s now healthy, underpriced, and in position to throw often.
