The Cleveland Indians have still not lost, it has been an incredible run and I don’t know if there is a team that could beat them.  The Dodgers have lost 11 in a row but I wouldn’t be too worried.  Everyone wants to say this is bad for the Dodgers but I don’t think it is.  The Dodgers were on a historic pace and everyone would expect them to win it all.  Now they don’t have to have all the eyes on them, and they can get the losing out of their system now.

We have a full slate of games with no football on so lets win together and reinvest it into out football teams.

Low-Scoring Plays

L.A. Dodgers @ San Francisco Giants- Kershaw gets the call for the Dodgers and the bleeding will stop today.  If there is one way to break the losing streak it’s to have your leader take the mound.  The Giants are not a great team and have no business being on a diamond with the Dodgers.  Kershaw should be a lock and I would stack some batters on the Dodger side.

Targets:Kershaw, Puig, Bellinger

Detroit Tigers @ Cleveland Indians- The Indians have to lose at some point but I don’t see it happening tonight.  Corey Kluber had takes the mound for the Indians who is out of this world this year.  He is going to come out and dominate this game.  It will be hard to afford Kluber and Kershaw but if you could do it.

Targets: Kluber, Encarnacion

Baltimore Orioles @ Toronto Blue Jays- Dylan Bundy got beat in his last outing against the New York Yankees.  Bundy has turned a corner this year and is one of the best pitchers in the American League.  Toronto has fallen back into last place and are done this season.  The Baltimore Orioles need every win they can get at this point and this is a good spot for them. With their best pitcher on the mound I can’t see them losing this game.

Targets: Bundy, Davis, Machado

High-Scoring Plays

Miami Marlins @ Philadelphia Phillies- Stanton has one of the best looking swings I have seen in some time.  When he loads up and make contact with the ball, you know it is gone off the bat.  I like him to hit one here as he is on pace to hit 61, he said he wanted 62, and I think he will add to the total here.  The Phillies have nothing to play for so Stanton should see some plays.

Targets: Stanton, Gordon

New York Yankees @ Tampa Rays- Tampa has been beat up by the Yankees and have fallen out of this play off race.  Today they are going against the Yankees who have been hot, with Sonny Gray on the mound.  They are playing at Citi Field due to the Hurricane, and home runs are not easy to come by here.  However the Rays are due for a win, they can mash the ball and Lucas Duda is back in the ball park he has played in for so many years.

Targets: Duda, Longoria

Under-Value Plays

Cueto-SF-SP- If you think the Dodgers are going to lose again then Cueto will be a great pick.  He has the stuff to shut this Dodgers team down however I believe they are going to finally get it going and get a win here.

Ramirez- BOS-1B- Hanley had Sunday off, the team was off Monday so he should be well rested for todays matchup.  The Sox will need Hanleys power down the stretch if they want a shot at this thing.  The other first basemen sluggers are very expensive, Hanley will be a cheap alternative and great play.

Headley-NYY-3B- Headley has been playing well lately for New York.  Everyone loves to hate on him, but he is batting .278 with 12 home runs.  This is a guy that was hitting sub .200 with 3 home runs at one point this season.  When ever I check the Yankees score I see Headley was involved in the scoring.

Puig/Granderson-LAD-OF- Both of these players are electric factory and can turn around this slump for the Dodgers.  They can jack the ball out of the stadium but also swipe a bag if they get a walk.  Both are great plays today for your outfield.
