With no game in London and only four teams on byes, we have one of our biggest slates in weeks. More importantly, we have a large number of lopsided matchups that play well into attempting to project game flow. Making Week 10 even sweeter, we have a few ‘revenge games’ to target, as well.
Sporfolio’s NFL Daily Fantasy Sports game-by-game analysis columns are driven by expected game flow. Based on a combination of our Week 10 NFL picks against the spread and our expectations for a given game, we project the actions necessary to make these picks come to fruition. We aim to pinpoint players integral to our predicted game flow for each game of the week.

Buffalo Bills at New York Jets
Luke’s DFS Take: Well, how about this showdown: Josh McCown facing off against whichever one of the ineffective Bills quarterbacks is eventually named the starter for this week. The really simple answer here is take your pick with either defense and move on because this game has the potential to be historically bad on offense. The other answer is to be really crazy and load up on this matchup because this is football and crazy things happen all the time. You could make a case that Josh McCown is better than some starting quarterbacks and may be good for the Jets at this time. It’s possible that he produces a respectable game and gets this offense moving back in the right direction. The Bills’ offense seems like a lost cause, but they still have LeSean McCoy and Kelvin Benjamin, and both Chris Ivory and Terelle Pryor are ex-Jets, so there is some reason to believe the Bills play with a little extra effort on offense this week. Again, the easy – and likely correct – call is to ignore this game completely, or pick the defenses and move on. But, if you like to be different, this game provides as good of an opportunity as any to really go the contrarian route.
Mario’s DFS Take: What a disaster. I’m sickened by the possibility that either Nathan Peterman or Josh McCown is going to win a game for his respective team and, with it, bring a new set of controversies – be-it in the form of potential coaching changes or debates of McCown versus Sam Darnold. Whatever the result, the first-look at the matchup between the Bills and Jets screams “low-scoring.” Actually, it screams “no-scoring.” Which means we should see some points in a fantastic ‘sleeper’ game. This opportunity grows even stronger if Josh Allen is healthy enough to play, as he is actually capable of producing. I would lean on him and LeSean McCoy. I can even justify doing the same pairing with Derek Anderson and McCoy, if Anderson starts. If, however, Nathan Peterman is under center, I’d be more than happy to use the Jets’ defense with Josh McCown and Isaiah Crowell on offense.
