Four more games are on the schedule for the final time, this season. Like last week, the Divisional Round offers a wide variety of daily fantasy football tournaments with each matchup acting as a ‘standalone’ game. This is, unfortunately, the last of such weekends, in which we can mix-and-match lineups based on preference of tournaments.

Unlike the Wild Card round’s wide-ranging list of players to target, the Divisional Round appears to offer a nice balance between positions, where there are not an over-abundance of decisions that need to be made. In addition, overlap can occur between players of the same team, allowing salary constraints to dictate necessary actions.

Based on our expected Divisional Round DFS game flow analysis performed earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Divisional Round Plays:

Quarterback

Russell Wilson – Seattle’s defense tends to steal the show on a season-by-season basis, but quarterback Russell Wilson is still integral to the team’s success. With a win against the Lions in the Wild Card Round, Wilson has at least one postseason victory in each of his five seasons in the NFL. His ability to compete is essential to targeting him in Atlanta on Saturday, as he should consistently be able to keep his team in the game. Against one of the worst defenses in the league, Wilson’s dual-threat ability should be on full display.

Aaron Rodgers – Aaron Rodgers needs no introduction. Most people need no convincing. Green Bay’s quarterback is on one of the great hot streaks in the history of the sport, and he has a far better statistical matchup on Sunday than he did in the Wild Card Round – when his team scored a whopping 38 points. Still without a valid rushing attack, everything runs through Rodgers for the Packers’ offense.

Dak Prescott – With the Packers expected to find offensive success, the pressure will be on Dallas to keep pace. Thankfully for the Cowboys, quarterback Dak Prescott has shown impressive poise during his rookie campaign and should not be blinded by the spotlight. More importantly, Green Bay’s secondary has been destroyed, at times, and Prescott is capable of having a big day in a potential high-scoring battle.
