We have already had quite the weekend of news and wild storylines, but we still managed to find a handful of games that we will be following intently for one-reason-or-another. Amazingly, each of them is largely unaffected by Week 12’s changing landscape.

A Note from Mario: I had a pretty small list of picks, last week, and they went 1-2. I will continue to provide these picks as I see fit, but please do your research and play responsibly.

In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. In this column of games to target in Week 12, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

Las Vegas Raiders at Atlanta Falcons

For as long as I can remember, the Atlanta Falcons have been good at basically one thing, and one thing only: churning out yards and putting points on the board. That has mostly been the case this year, but they are coming off by far their worst game of the season where they totaled just 248 yards of offense and scored just nine points. That game was against a Saints defense that is absolutely dominating teams right now, but their opponent this week is doing no such thing. The Raiders defense has allowed over 300 yards of offense in every game except for their game against the Browns which was essentially played in a hurricane. On top of that, they have allowed over 400 yards of offense in six of their ten games. This is the perfect bounce back spot for the Falcons offense, and with Todd Gurley II out of the lineup, I am expecting a very heavy pass attack by the Falcons this week. The Raiders’ offense isn’t typically looked at as one of the elite groups in the NFL, but they have talent at every position, and they have shown time and time again this season they can hold their own in high scoring games. They have the added benefit of playing a Falcons defense that has not held a single opponent to under 300 yards of offense this season.
