Just like last week, we found ourselves gravitating toward similar matchups, where the two authors of this column both targeted the same game for one-of-our-three. We deviated on the other two and, collectively, found that this week’s list is truly representative as to where we will be directing our attention for much of our DFS lineups. At least, it’s where we will start many of our builds.
A Note from Mario: Another sub-par week with the actual over-under picks at 1-3 despite many of the teams actually performing offensively. I will continue to provide these picks as I see fit, but please do your research and play responsibly.
In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. In this column of games to target in Week 15, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins
After a stretch of impressive showings from the Patriots offense, the production just hasn’t been there over the past three weeks. Now I know that they just scored 45 points in their game two weeks ago, but let’s not pretend like that was some offensive explosion. Their defense completely shut down one of the most consistent offenses in the league and created multiple turnovers helping their offense greatly. Their special teams really stole the show with numerous big returns which added points to the scoreboard that the offense wouldn’t have otherwise gotten. This week, against a stingy Dolphins defense that ranks second in the league in points against, I don’t have much faith in this Patriots offense that is without a true playmaker. The Dolphins’ offense has had some bright moments, but anyone acting like Tua Tagovailoa’s season has been great since taking over is definitely exaggerating. Their offense is dead last in the league in yards per rush attempt and 20th in the league in net yards per pass attempt while ranking 27th in the league in total yards. If their defense is not creating short field situations, their offense has not been able to produce much on their own. Given the Patriots run the ball more than any team in the league, and have only had multiple turnovers in three games this year, that doesn’t bode well for the Dolphins. Add in the Bill Belichick magic against rookie quarterbacks, and it is hard to have much faith in the Dolphins offense which makes this one the least appealing games of the week.
