We keep preaching about how many teams and games we like in Week 10’s slate, but the real value comes from a few underpriced gems that allow everything else to work in our lineups. “Everything” being found in the form of either game stacks or simply paying up for stars.
Based on our expected Week 10 DFS game flow analysis and Week 10 Games to Target published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.
Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 10 Plays:
Quarterback
Patrick Mahomes – Patrick Mahomes is returning from injury this week, and it is hard to imagine just how hyped up he is for this game. Since Mahomes has taken over the starting job, this was the first time he has had to miss any games. In his young career, he has routinely come out on the field and destroyed opposing defenses at will. That has become the norm for Mahomes, but now that he is returning from injury and likely overflowing with excitement and enthusiasm for this game, there is no telling what he may be able to accomplish on the field this week against an average Titans defense.
Matt Ryan – There are a lot of risks in using Matt Ryan in a fantasy lineup on Sunday – health being the most important one – but this weekend is probably the best setup he’s had. Again, taking health out of the equation, Ryan is coming off a bye week and preparing to face a division rival against which he has had extreme success in the past – in 21 head-to-head matchups, Ryan is averaging over 300 yards-per-game. His price is reasonable, given the upside, and his team simply can’t keep opponents from scoring – third-most points-per-game allowed. This puts the pressure – and volume – in the hands of Ryan. And we always value volume for a quarterback.
