It’s not a stretch to say that we expect plenty of points, this weekend. Normally, we aim to write about three games, where one should be a surprisingly low-scoring matchup. Instead, we cover six different matchups over the course of seven writeups, where most of them are set up for big offensive performances.

A Note from Mario: Last week saw four more picks with a 2-2 split. I like another four games, this week. As always, I’ll list my personal favorite picks, but please do your research, and play responsibly.

In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. In this column of games to target in Week 11, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

Denver Broncos at Minnesota Vikings
Of all the games on our Week 11 slate, this game is easily one of the least appealing to me. The Broncos’ offense is still in the hands of Brandon Allen, and despite a promising first start, I’m still highly skeptical of his outlook. My natural skepticism aside, Allen has to travel with his mediocre offensive group to play a road game against a tough Vikings defense, so it’s easy to have low expectations for their offense. The Vikings have looked everything from terrible to incredible on offense this year, but it’s clear that they are at their best when they run the ball often. Given the game script here, and the matchup, it’s likely that they rely heavily on the ground game this week. While that works for them, it doesn’t do a lot to inspire fantasy excitement making it that much easier to mostly fade this game.
