We have already written about some of the underwhelming matchups ahead of us for Sunday afternoon, but “underwhelming” does not directly mean “useless.” There are games to attack from a fantasy perspective, and we are incredibly intrigued by them.

A Note from Mario: What a shame. After a perfect week with the over-under picks, we have a 1-3 dud. I will continue to provide these picks as I see fit, but please do your research and play responsibly.

In the world of daily fantasy roster construction, ‘stacking’ players from the same team can often lead to big results. In this column of games to target in Week 11, Luke and Mario will give their thoughts on a few games that are worth watching for fantasy purposes, and whether they like the value or feel the game is getting too much attention.

New England Patriots at Houston Texans

This game may not immediately jump off the page as a fantasy gold mine, but I am starting to believe that’s exactly what it is. For starters, the Houston Texans defense has been absolutely horrid for most of the season, and they are particularly terrible against the run. No team in the entire NFL has faced more rush attempts, allowed more rushing yards or allows more yards per rush attempt. The Texans have allowed over 100 yards rushing in seven games this season, they have allowed over 150 rushing yards in six games this season and they have allowed over 200 rushing yards in three games this season. Given how often, and how effective, the Patriots run the ball, they should have a field day running against this putrid Texans defense. Before last week, the Texans offense had been on a streak of five consecutive games of over 350 total yards of offense. Thanks in part to that impressive stretch, the Texans are the fourth most efficient passing team in the league, and that bodes very well for them against a Patriots defense which ranks 31st in the league in net yards allowed per pass attempt. This game has so much appeal because the strength of both offenses lines up perfectly with the weaknesses of the opposing defense.

Miami Dolphins at Denver Broncos

It may be hard to believe
