Tonight we have a nice 10-game slate on the table to find our daily fantasy hockey gems. There are four teams I will be targeting as my top plays for the night:

Vancouver Canucks @ New York Rangers
Detroit Red Wings @ Philadelphia Flyers
Dallas Stars @ Winnipeg Jets
Boston Bruins @ Montreal Canadiens (More so if Rask does not start)

The first game of the night – and the clearest choice – is the New York Rangers’ end of the Canucks at Rangers game. The New York Rangers lead the league in scoring with 4.23 goals per game (55 goals over 13 games). At home, they have been even more impressive scoring a league-best 42 home goals (4.67 goals per game). The Rangers’ power play is clicking at 22.7 percent and we can really attack this game from a number of different ways.

Vancouver has allowed 2.75 goals-per-game and on the road that number sky rockets to 3.40 goals allowed-per-game. I’m sure DFS players will be all over NY tonight, and for good reason, but if you’re a multi-entry GPP player NY is a very tough fade – from goaltender on down. NY is a massive favorite at -290, so we might see some pretty high ownership percentages in this one.

– Vancouver has scored a league-worst 1.60 road goals this season.

Jimmy Vesey $4.9K (6G, 4A, 3 PPP, 21 SOG)
Derek Stepan $5.6K  (1G, 9A, 4 PPP, 24 SOG)
Rick Nash $6.5K (6G, 3A, 2 PPP, 39 SOG)

round out NY’s top line. But I wouldn’t mind
