Tonight we have a six-game slate with some interesting options and one game that could be a fantastic real life NHL game, but maybe a game we should avoid for our daily fantasy hockey needs.

Philadelphia Flyers @ Toronto Maple Leafs
Dallas Stars @ Edmonton Oilers
Winnipeg Jets @ Colorado Avalanche

The first game we’ll look at is the Philadelphia Flyers at the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Philadelphia is ranked third in the league with 3.36 goals-per-game. Toronto has allowed a league second worst 3.62 goals-per-game. While I will have shares of both of these teams tonight, I will lean more on the Philly end. Toronto has allowed 17 goals over their past five games – this includes seven goals against in a loss to L.A.

I am expecting a great pace to this game as Philly has a CF60 of 57.63 and CA60 of 56.17. Toronto’s CF60 is 58.50 and their CA60 is 55.49. So we could see a relatively fast-paced game with plenty of shots and scoring chances on both ends.

On the Philly side I’ll look to:

Brayden Schenn $5.5K (2G, 7A, 2 PPG, 24 SOG)
Claude Giroux $7K (4G, 11A, 9 PPP, 36 SOG)
Wayne Simmonds $6.8K (6G, 6A, 6 PPP, 39 SOG)
Jakub Voracek $6.9K (6G, 9A, 5 PPP, 58 SOG)
(D) Shayne Gostisbehere $5.8K (3G, 6A, 4 PPP, 45 SOG)

Matt Read skates with Giroux and Simmonds on the top line and also makes a fine option tonight.
