Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to the Thanksgiving edition of our daily fantasy hockey morning coffee. Today we only have two games on the slate, so our player pool is about as small as it can be. My advice for these really small slates is to limit how much you play as ownership of all players gets compressed and differentiating your lineups becomes all that more difficult.
The games tonight are:
Carolina Hurricanes @ Montreal Canadiens
Boston Bruins @ Ottawa Senators
Let’s start with the Hurricanes at the Canadiens. One small way we may be able to differentiate our lineups is to attack Carey Price (if he starts) and the Canadiens. It’s a risky proposition — Price has a .943 save percentage and a goals against average of 1.77. Additionally, his record of 11-1 and Montreal’s 1.62 home goals against per game are pretty daunting numbers. But fading Price and going with Carolina could be our GPP option tonight.
So, where do we find our goals?
