Tonight we have a small three-game slate to weed through for our daily fantasy hockey needs.

Buffalo Sabres @ Boston Bruins
Vancouver Canucks @ NY Islanders
Tampa Bay Lightning @ Florida Panthers

The first game on the slate is the Buffalo Sabres at the Boston Bruins. Boston and Buffalo are tied near the bottom of the league with only 2.27 goals per game. Boston has allowed a 10th-worst 2.91 goals per game compared to Buffalo’s fourth-best 2.18 goals against per game. Some of Boston’s woes in the goals per game department came when Rask was injured – so we can look at that 2.91 GAA with a semi-grain of salt.

Boston’s first two lines are both playable on a short slate:

Brad Marchand $6.7K (4G, 9A, 1PPP, 23 SOG)
Patrice Bergeron $6.4K (2G, 2A, 28 SOG)
David Pastrnak $5.3K (7G, 3A, 1 PPP, 33 SOG)

Line 2:

Ryan Spooner $3.8K (2G, 1A, 2 PPP, 21 SOG)
David Krejci $5.1K (4A, 2 PPP, 18 SOG)
David Backes $5.7K (2G, 2A, 1 PPP, 12 SOG)

Putting Bergeron and Pastrnak with T. Krug will be a stack I’ll be sure to have some shares of tonight.

As always, if I’m playing a one-off on the Bruins side, it’s Brad Marchand. His price compared to his upside is just too much for me to ignore. Below I’ve charted out some numbers to see how Marchand contributes (points-wise) to the Bruins.
