Welcome to the Monday version of the daily fantasy hockey morning coffee. Today we have a six game slate to dig through for our daily fantasy hockey needs. There are three teams I want to target tonight in my tournaments:

Calgary Flames @ Toronto Maple Leafs (Toronto, -145, 5.5 over/under)
Carolina Hurricanes @ Washington Capitals (Washington, -205, 5.5 over/under)
San Jose Sharks @ Colorado Avalanche (San Jose, -230, 5 over/under)

Toronto will be one of the main teams I target when constructing my lineups (but I want both sides of this game). Toronto has scored an NHL sixth-best 3.67 goals per game in January. At home Toronto averages a league ninth-best 3.14 goals per game. Adjusted for score and venue Toronto has an xGF/60 of 3.26 (at even strength) — highest in the NHL. Toronto’s power play has clicked at a rate of 40.7 percent this month which will make for interesting matchup against a Calgary team that has allowed six power play goals in January and has allowed 11 goals over their past two games. If you are multi-entering a GPP one strategy would be to grab shares of all three of Toronto’s top three lines:

Line 1:

James van Riemsdyk $7.5K (16G, 22A, 14 PPP, 123 SOG)
Tyler Bozak $5.7K (12G, 18A, 10 PPP, 78 SOG)
Mitchell Marner $6.5K  (10G, 27A, 12 PPP, 110 SOG)

Line 2:

Leo Komarov $4.6K (8G, 7A, 4 PPP, 57 SOG)
Nazem Kadri $6.6K(18G, 13A, 13 PPP, 137 SOG)
William Nylander $5.6K(9G, 20A, 15 PPP, 106 SOG)

Line 3:

Zach Hyman $4.6K (6G, 14A, 100 SOG)
Auston Matthews $7.7K (22G, 16A, 11 PPP, 155 SOG)
Connor Brown $5.4K (11G, 10A, 2 PPP, 75 SOG)
