Tonight we have our biggest slate of games to work with in quite some time with 10 games on the docket. Again, I like to parse down the 20 teams in play to the top three I’ll look to in constructing the majority of my DFS lineups:

Columbus Blue Jackets @ New York Islanders (Columbus, -140, 5.5 over/under)
Minnesota Wild @ Dallas Stars
St. Louis Blues @ Pittsburgh Penguins (Pittsburgh, -210, 6 over/under)

The first game I want to target tonight is Columbus at New York. I want shares from both sides in this one. Columbus has averaged 2.91 goals per game this month and allowed 3.00 goals per game. New York has scored 2.78 goals per game in January and allowed an NHL sixth-best 2.11 goals per game this month. On the season Columbus has scored an NHL third-best 3.33 goals per game and on the road still average over three goals per game at 3.05. While New York is having a nice January (they had consecutive shutouts against Boston and Dallas) on the season they have allowed an NHL 10th-most  2.89 goals against per game.

At home, with the score tied in 5v5 situations, New York has xGA/60 of 2.84 — fourth-highest in the NHL. With those same adjustments but on the road, Columbus has xGF/60 of 2.71 — sixth-highest in the league. To that end, I’ll look to Columbus at even strength for some lineups tonight:

Brandon Saad $6.2K (15G, 19A, 2 PPP, 117 SOG)
Alexander Wennberg $6.1K (8G, 31A, 20 PPP, 59 SOG)
Nick Foligno $6.5K (16G, 21A, 18 PPP, 194 SOG)

Line 2:

Boone Jenner $5.3K  (9G, 7A, 1 PPP, 107 SOG)
Brandon Dubinsky $5.1K (5G, 14A, 3 PPP, 63 SOG)
Cam Atkinson $7.4K (23G, 22A, 19 PPP, 137 SOG)

If you’re looking to stack the Columbus power play I would look to
