We follow up our small Monday night two-game with a seven-game Tuesday slate that offers us some nice options to work with for our daily fantasy hockey needs. Of the fourteen teams in action tonight the following teams in bold make up the teams I’ll look to as the foundation for my lineups:

New Jersey Devils @ Carolina Hurricanes (Carolina -165, 5 over/under)
Buffalo Sabres @ New York Rangers (New York, -225, 5.5 over/under)
Winnipeg Jets @ Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa Bay, -170, 5.5 over/under)
Edmonton Oilers @ Columbus Blue Jackets (Columbus -165, 5.5 over/under)

The Carolina Hurricanes get the New Jersey Devils on the second night of a back-to-back. Last month Carolina scored 2.79 goals per game, just out of the top 10 in the NHL. New Jersey allowed 3.67 goals per game last month and their goaltenders combined for the fourth-worst save percentage in the NHL. On the road this season New Jersey has only averaged 1.91 goals per game and have allowed 3.09 goals per game. Tonight I’ll look to

Jeff Skinner $6.7K (13G, 14A, 11 PPP, 124 SOG)
Victor Rask $5.9K (10G, 16A, 6 PPP, 81 SOG)
(D) Noah Hanifin $3.9K (2G, 10A, 6 PPP, 51 SOG)

as the basis for some of tournament lineups. And while the Sebastian Aho/Teuvo Teravainen/Lee Stempniak line is becoming an increasingly popular play I’ll still have shares of this line as they have accounted for six goals and 101 shot attempts over the past 10 games. Aho has two goals and two assists over his past five games and has had 18 shots on goals over that time. Teravainen has a goal and three assists over his past five games and is currently riding a four game point streak. Stempniak has two goals and nine shots on goal over his past three games.

Even though New Jersey got the shutout last night they played a Bruins team that just didn’t show up to play — I still wouldn’t be afraid to go after them tonight.

The second team I want plenty of exposure to is
