We found pricing to be fair in the last few weeks, but that is not the case for Week 15. To our own surprise, we ended with more balanced lineups than we expected, as the ‘stars-and-scrubs’ approach was used sparingly.

Based on our expected Week 15 DFS game flow analysis and Week 15 Games to Target published earlier, we can carry our thoughts into actual lineup positions. The long list of players that fit the requirements set forth by the projected flow of the game was cut dramatically by the requirements set forth by salaries.

Below are Sporfolio’s DFS Week 15 Plays:

Quarterback

Kirk Cousins – The Minnesota Vikings’ passing game has been mentioned in most of our articles throughout the week, so it should surprise no one to see Kirk Cousins on this list. Cousins has posted a passer rating of at least 90 in every game except one, this year, and that was in Week 2. Over the last six games, he has thrown fifteen touchdowns and only two interceptions and reached 290 passing yards four times. Basically, he’s a constant producer. The key to his success on Sunday is Minnesota’s matchup with the Chicago Bears, where they continue to play well against the run and have limited running back Dalvin Cook to fewer than 100 rush yards in all four of his career head-to-head games.

Deshaun Watson – Similar to the aforementioned Kirk Cousins, Deshaun Watson basically makes this list by default. Collectively, we have bought into the Houston Texans playing well against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, and it is almost impossible for this to happen without Watson delivering in one-capacity-or-another. We are seeing Houston’s offense struggle with so many of its weapons missing, but Watson is still staying afloat. His volume remains high — which is always the key — and he previously threw for more than 340 yards against the Colts’ defense just two weeks ago.

Gardner Minshew II – If there’s one thing we value at all positions, it’s volume. And Gardner Minshew II should have volume on Sunday. Part of this is because his team is expected to lose to the Baltimore Ravens and, as a result, he will be throwing, but the other piece of the equation is the transition back to Minshew. In his young career, he has shown the ability to deliver fairly big fantasy performances, and his first start since Week 7 should present a nice ‘buy-low’ opportunity.
