We have seen way too many examples of good weeks turning into bad ones — including this season — but we do have to take a moment and appreciate how well the spreads told a clear story over the past few weeks and then delivered on it. That’s all we can really want on a regular basis, and the risk is in deviating from that plan to try to capture trends as they move.
We have our approach. And we’ll stick to it.
If it starts to go against us, we should remember these times and know that we have a plan we can use repeatedly with the expectation that it will work itself out in time.
We just happened to have that “time” take place in a short span.
Below are predictions for each game against the spread. Spreads have been taken from various websites and are subject to change. The spread in parenthesis denotes the selected team. Spread is listed as advertised number and odds at either DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, Caesars Sportsbook, or Fanatics Sportsbook (formerly PointsBet). All efforts were made to provide picks at -110 or better, with some stretching to a -125 if no reasonable advertised spread was found.

The Green Bay Packers lost on the road against a division rival in a generally standard game. There were a few turnovers, reasonable numbers on both sides, late field goals, and a winner. Sure, it wasn’t the Packers, but Green Bay wasn’t embarrassed at all.
